Counselling, coaching, couple therapy and mediation are all conducted according to the highest ethical/professional standards that have as priority the well-being of the client. Nonetheless, it can happen that a complaint evolves. Any kind of complaint or displeasure can first be openly discussed between client and counsellor and is certain to receive due attention. If that would not be sufficient, then an official complaint can be addressed to SCAG (organisation for complementary and alternative healthcare) (www.scag.nl) and be given due process as regulated by law.
